Control boards for hospital medical gas systems.
We design the electronics, write the firmware and produce the control and routing boards for Tecnomed’s medical gas plants and zone shut-off alarm systems. More than 2,000 boards have been produced and delivered since 2024.

Electronics that cannot stop.
A medical gas line feeds patients in intensive care and in operating rooms. The boards that watch it have to run around the clock, raise the alarm at the right moment and keep doing so for years.
What the boards take care of.
In Tecnomed’s gas plants and zone alarms, our boards measure, decide and warn.
Line pressure, watched constantly
High- and low-pressure sensors measure the pipeline, and the unit shows each gas’s pressure on its display.
Audible and visual alarms
When a pressure leaves its permitted band, a separate high- or low-pressure alarm is raised for that gas.
Automatic changeover
In the gas plant, supply switches from the duty cylinder bank to the reserve by itself, so the line stays fed while empty cylinders are replaced.
Link to building automation
Pressures, alarm limits and alarms are sent to the hospital’s central monitoring system over RS485 / Modbus.
Adjustable limits
Upper and lower alarm limits are set on the unit, and the interface offers a choice of languages.

Schematics and PCB layout, embedded firmware, testing and series production by one team.
Tecnomed builds these systems in line with EN ISO 7396-1 and HTM 02-01.
